On October 12, I began teaching piano lessons to Claire
Bleess. She is Collin's age and is the sister of Aaron's friend, Toby, from preschool. On Wednesday afternoons at 3:10pm we go over to the
Bleess', and while I give Claire her lesson, Aaron and Nolan have a play date with Toby supervised by Claire and Toby's mom, Renee. We end promptly at 3:55, so that we can pack up and meet Collin at his bus stop by 4:00pm.
Today on the way over to their house, Aaron and I had the following conversation in the car:
"Mom, do you know why I like spending time with Toby? Because sometimes when I'm playing with him I forget about missing Collin so much."
"Is Collin your best friend?"
"Yes, Mom."
