I'm not exactly sure what we were thinking, taking the boys to the Mall of America before our big trip to Mexico...but we had those two all-day unlimited ride wrist bands we "earned" Christmas shopping on December 5 that needed to be used before the end of the month, so we took our chances with potential viral exposure. Given the number of other people at the park and the fact that the kids were licking every hand rail they could get their mouths on, we nearly lost our minds.

Aaron was sad because he wasn't tall enough for all of the rides Collin could technically enjoy, like Danny Phantom Ghost Zone, because of his height. However, the situation is a catch 22, because Collin's greater than 42 inch status doesn't afford him a free parental
chaperone. We were grateful some of the ride attendants were understanding of our unique situation...a tall, albeit it very cautious 4-year old.
Aaron: "I'm a little sad."
Collin: "Don't worry Aaron...whew...they shouldn't even allow 4-year
olds on that ride."
