To Plymouth...and Beyond

Adam said goodbye to Ingenix and began his new job as a Director of Project Management at UHG-IT yesterday in Plymouth. After careful consideration, he felt this was the right opportunity at the right time in his career, especially in light of growing uncertainty at Ingenix after the sale of I3.

A commute to Plymouth is significantly different than a commute to Eden Prairie. Even without complete understanding of the complexities, we knew it would no longer be feasible to continue our Tuesday daycare arrangement with the Zywicki's because of distance; even Jane's was a potential stretch. Lori has been watching the boys for a little over 3 years, and was an answer to prayers following a frustrating year of sporadic daycare, first with Katie Wages, and then Jess Wood. Lori was a breath of fresh dependability and consistency. She was generous with her resources and her love. We were sad to discontinue the relationship, and I think she was genuinely sad to lose us. She made the boys a picture video of highlights of their time together.

Jane confirmed that she would be able to watch Aaron and Nolan on Tuesdays as well as Thursdays, while we began to search for an alternative provider closer to home. Instead of going to daycare this summer, Collin said he'd be more interested in the Summer Safari program at Westwood.

We've survived many scheduling transitions over the past 6 years...and I'm sure this won't be the last one. I'm happy to say we're handling them with more grace and confidence that things are working out the way they should.
