Two Wheels

Aaron had a surprise to show me when I arrived home from work and yoga. After Adam had retrieved Aaron and Nolan from Jane's, followed by Collin from Summer Safari, Aaron convinced his dad to take the training wheels off Major Damage. Adam and I had discussed keeping the training wheels on until the spring of 2012 so we could keep him safer during rides around the neighborhood, but Aaron wanted to ride unencumbered.

It was the same as it had been for Collin last spring. Like his older brother, Aaron chose the safety of our grassy backyard for his maiden voyage...and, when the training wheels were off, Aaron began riding around the backyard, like he had never required their assistance in the first place.

Aaron's first time without training wheels...


After a few reps Aaron was able to effortlessly maneuver a turn around the tree in the middle of our backyard.
