'Tis the Season

The St. Stephen's Preschool Christmas Concert marked the beginning of our annual Christmas holiday blitz. The well attended concert drew hundreds of proud parents and grandparents to the small sanctuary, so it was a blessing we heeded the advice of conventional wisdom and arrived early to secure a good seat.

Aaron was dashing, waving and smiling for all the cameras as he and his classmates settled into their positions. Aaron sat to the right of his new neighborhood friend, Toby.

He missed a couple days of practice while we were in Mexico, which might explain why he didn't sing along to all the songs.

When Santa Comes

Do you know what I'd like to do,
When Santa comes knocking?
I'd like to squeeze up a little
And hide behind my stocking.

And when he'd open his bag,
I'd say "boo" just for fun,
And maybe he'd leave all his packages and run!
Oh, wouldn't that be fun?
