After picking Collin up from school a couple weeks ago, I took the boys shopping at the craft mecca,
Michaels. After browsing the isles, we settled on four art projects to entertain us during the upcoming Christmas season; sticker foam picture frame ornaments for Nolan (to use as gifts for neighbors and family), a snow globe for Aaron (to gift to Grandma
EIO), wooden ornaments to color with markers and glitter glue for Collin (to serve as supplemental gifts for family), and a gingerbread kit, just like the one Auntie Ellie brought to assemble with Collin and Aaron during the 2008 Christmas holiday:

The directions advised assembling the gingerbread house and waiting multiple hours prior to initiating the decoration phase of the project...but that wasn't a possibility for obvious reasons. While decorating the roof, the walls collapsed at least twice, but we finally managed to construct a decent house and enjoy a little holiday sugar high.
Nolan's mommy always says, "O NOLAN!"

Aaron attempts to warn Nolan that he is going to get littler and littler and littler if he keeps sampling the icing. Nolan finally challenges that
preposterous idea with a "so big".
