This morning Aaron, Nolan and I drove over to Centennial Lakes Medical Center for Aaron's dermatology appointment. Aaron was not reassured while sitting in the waiting room, viewing an advertisement for Botox that involved a long needle and the delicate space between a woman's brow. He turned to me with worry, and asked me exactly what we were doing there.
He had nothing to fear. The MD who examined his mole opted for a wait and see approach, since the moles on scalps (and under breasts and in the groin?) typically appear more unusual than on other parts of the body. Good to know. She measured and documented and sent us on our way, encouraging us to keep a close eye on the mole and have it checked yearly by an MD. Aaron was relieved to just walk out of the office with some horse stickers.
The boys also finally made it to their dentist appointments on Feb. 28, after I completely spaced Collin's (and mine) first scheduled appointment on January 31, the night we first noticed Nolan's mysterious rash. Neither Collin nor Aaron had any cavities.
