On Wednesday afternoon after the hike to Honeymoon Heights and the upper
tailings, we headed to the Hike
Haus to ask about a good fishing hole relatively close to the village. We had received reports that the fishing at Hart Lake was incredible, but we knew the boys probably wouldn't be able to handle the 9 mile round trip hike. The woman at the Hike
Haus recommended a spot on the river near the labyrinth at the far end of the ball field. The boys borrowed some fishing poles, tackle and salmon eggs...and we were off to try our luck trout fishing.

We didn't catch anything that we could keep, but all three boys (and their dad) landed approximately 8 rainbow trout, between 6 and 8 inches long.
