On our way down we ran into a group of llamas returning from a supply mission for the Forest Service.
We hired Hanna, the daughter of a couple (Brenda and Dave) staying in our lodge, to pick Collin and Aaron up from Narnia and feed them a trails lunch at the Nature Trail because we knew we probably wouldn't be able to shave 2.5 hours off a 6 hour hike. She made the boys stick boats that they raced through the dams they had spent the week building. We relieved her at 12:40, completing the hike to Holden Lake in 4 hours, with a short stop at the lake to admire the view.

Robin in the rain,
Such a saucy fellow.
Robin in the rain,
Mind your socks of yellow.
Running in the garden on your nimble feet,
Digging for your dinner with your long strong beak.
Robin in the rain,
You don't mind the weather
Showers always make you gay.
Bet the worms are wishing you would stay at home,
Robin on a rainy day -- don't get your feet wet,
Robin on a rainy day!
