Something about the Trumpkin room (infant to age 2) turned Nolan into a pumpkin, so we allowed him to spend some quality time with his mom and dad, while his brothers were otherwise occupied with new friends and activities. It was hard to deny him as he looked up at us with tears streaming down his face when we tried to drop him off, pleading, "My backpack?, I go with you in my backpack?" He seemed keenly aware that he had dodged a bullet and was a gracious little passenger the remainder of the week.

During their first day at Narnia, Collin and Aaron met some hiking llamas and Collin made a new friend named Jonathan, or as he liked to call him, "Donovan".
Since I accidentally left our suitcase of entertainment on the bus, we borrowed some games and books from the Meditation Room. Nolan's favorite was "Ants in the Pants". He was an expert, handily beating his brothers the majority of the time.
On Tie-Dye Tuesday, we all went to Crafts behind Koinonia to participate in the fun.
When we were finished, we hung our 3 t-shirts and 2 sun hats alongside Nolan's Fuzzi Bunzs on the Village clothes line.
During Vespers on Tuesday night, the Narnians provided special music, "In the Beginning", the same "HIPPO" song that Aaron performed at his Spring concert at St. Stephen's preschool.

Collin and Jonathan became quick friends, and later in the week met for a game of pool in the Village Center after ice cream. 
Jonathan's dad, who has been visiting Holden since he was a boy, then showed Collin and Aaron the Holden tree fort. Jonathan happens to live in Minneapolis, so the boys are excited about a future play date.
The boys also spent time playing and laughing with their bus buddies, Emily and Erin Seibenaler.
