She followed Moonlight
To find her path.
She listened to Music-makers
To hear her heart.
But she could not hear.
She could not see.
She walked the stretch of sand
To see where she had come.
She climbed mountain changes
To change herself.
But she could not remember.
She could not change.
She followed bee's circles
To join their understanding.
She dove into cold waters
To awaken her breath.
But it was too cold, too fast.
She could not join.
Then walking amidst the darkness
She saw her shadow,
Following her,
Mirroring her,
Blinding her.
So she stopped.
Reflecting in,
Looking out,
She simply sat.
On wings they came
Discovering her,
Joining her,
Circling her.
Butterflies fluttered about her.
Changing her.
Remembering her.
Seeing her.
Hearing her.
Resting.
They rested with her.
Opening.
They opened to her.
