Since we were headed out of town on Friday morning, Chelle and Molly stopped by on Thursday night to wish Nolan an early Happy Birthday and present all the boys with activity books and markers for the long van ride to the Dells. Nolan and Chelle have a pretty amazing bond; he begins asking on Monday if it's a "Mrs. Chelle day". Around 9:45am on Friday mornings, Chelle walks over and plays with Nolan for a couple hours so I can assist readers during the "Daily 5" in Collin's 1st grade classroom at Hillcrest until it is time for me to retrieve Aaron from preschool.
Marking the big 3 on the height tree. Nolan and Aaron share the same mark.
Looking smart, talking to Auntie Laura with Uncle Ryan on Saturday, February 25.
"Tiger, LOOK!" Nolan received a pink post-it note certificate for 5 packs of gum, along with the Skylander, Dino-Rang, and water torpedoes from Mom and Dad. Before leaving for the Dells, we stopped at CUB to cash the certificate and pick out birthday cake and frosting, chocolate on chocolate cupcakes with sprinkles.
Enjoying the birthday taco bar!
With cousin, Cody...a little embarrassed about all the birthday singing, "For he's a jolly good fellow..."
Nolan opened a set of 5 puzzles and an Olivia book from Auntie Ellie, "How do Dinosaurs Say Happy Birthday" from Uncle Reid and Alysha, stickers and a drawing pad from Auntie Ruthie, and a summer outfit, a pack of gum, and a "fifty" from Grandpa and Grandma EIO.
