Wounded

As Adam reached across his body to heroically save Aaron from imminent disaster on his tricycle, his arm accidentally caught the handle of the stroller, tipping it to the ground. Unfortunately for Nolan, he was strapped inside. His face took the brunt of impact, resulting in a huge goose egg on the left side of his forehead and road rash on his nose.


He intended a quick and uneventful trip to the neighborhood Valley West Do It Best Hardware store with the boys while I enjoyed spa morning…yoga and Starbucks, followed by a facial and haircut at the Sanctuary. The house was uncharacteristically quiet when I returned home. However, within minutes, a distraught Adam appeared at the back door holding Nolan. Adam was visibly shaken and probably more affected by the events than Nolan, who appeared to be taking the whole incident in stride.

After things settled down, we spent some time this afternoon upgrading Nolan’s wardrobe to the 18-month size clothes. Hopefully he's able to wear these a little longer than his 12-month clothes.
