Gala

While Adam and BaPa Minnows competed in Wilk’s final annual tennis Gala fundraiser, the boys and I hung out with Jordan, Braxon, and Carter, first playing at their apartment in Sohre Hall, and eventually driving over to the bubble to watch some tennis. When they were finished, we rejoined Adam and Heather and took in some Gustavus Homecoming festivities, including the parade, followed by the carnival at the caf. The boys sat patiently while a student painted Gus' paw print on their faces.

The crew: Beth and Nolan, Collin, Braxon, Heather, Carter, with Aaron in the front, taking the elevator down a floor...because riding the elevator is that much fun.

Following lunch, we attended a volleyball game, played on the mats in the gym of the Lund center during the Homecoming football game, and attended the movie “Up”, before finally returning to the dorm for a Domino’s dinner and game night. Adam admitted he hadn’t ever attended so many Homecoming activities, even during his time as a student 13 years ago.

Saturday night after putting the boys to bed in Braxon and Carter’s room, we began a riveting game of Settler’s of Catan. After at least an hour of audible laughter, giggling, visits from parents, and overall general ruckus from the room Collin and Aaron were sharing with Braxon and Carter, Collin walked out into the hallway and announced, “You guys didn't do a very good job of putting the kids to bed!”

No kid, Collin…NO KID! (which is Collin speak for 'No kidding!')
