I've overheard multiple conversations between Collin and Henry since the beginning of the year concerning this day...they knew it was coming and were dreading it. They have played together on Wednesdays and Thursdays since they were two...and Aaron and James, and Nolan and Kate have played together since they were 3 months old. They all look forward to the time they spend together and have quick smiles when they greet. They fight like siblings...and love each other like siblings.
This arrangement wasn't without it's challenges, but it was the only one that didn't involve negotiation...and we're all sad to turn the page on this chapter.

The crew, playing together on August 11, 2010.

Unfortunately, Adam had to interrupt their last day together with a rescheduled trip to the dentist at 11:00am for himself, Collin, and Aaron. Aaron remains cavity free; Collin hasn't been as fortunate due to deep groves in his molars. Dr. Brooks filled 3 more cavities in Collin's baby teeth, without anesthetic. Assistant Elizabeth was impressed with both boys, especially Collin's cooperation during the procedures: "She said I opened so wide one of her body parts could fall in!"
The Andersons thanked me with a Cub gift card, an individual bottle of champagne and a dark chocolate bar. Henry and James made me a parting gift, a card titled, "Things we love about the Beduhn house:
- Collin, Aaron, and Nolan
- Beth is nice!
- When Collin and Aaron go to the dentist we get to play alone with Beth
- Playing outside on the play set
- When we sing with Beth and she plays the piano
We LOVE YOU."
