Even though my baby wasn’t well, we were advised to keep the well-baby appointment. Dr. Kramarczuk’s nurse wasn’t impressed when I informed her that I feared both Nolan and Collin had H1N1. She flashed me an annoyed look, immediately left the room and returned wearing a mask.
Since both Nolan and Collin have had fevers, I declined Nolan’s scheduled shots, promising to return when everyone is feeling better.
Nolan continues to thrive...although we did receive a referral to an ENT for his tied tongue. Unless it continues to hinder his progress with solid foods, we will forgo treatment at this time. This condition may require a procedure in the future to assist him with speech development, but we'll cross that bridge later...and only if we need to.
