Batman and Robin

I have my hands full on Wednesdays, but we've nearly come to the time when it's easier with Henry and James than without them...so the boys have friends with whom to imagine. Today it was an involved game of Batman and Robin for Collin and Henry...complete with a homemade Batmobile with milk crates that held bungee cord tied to golf club seat belts in the proper position. To my knowledge, Collin has never been exposed to Batman and Robin, so Henry must have instigated their play. Although I'm not completely certain who was Batman and who was Robin (or if these roles were interchangeable), Collin was sitting in the front most of the day.

Since James and Aaron (the babies?!?!) weren't welcome in the garage, they spent the majority of our time outside playing in the sandbox...and when they were done with that...trying to convince Collin and Henry that there was room for them in the imagination game, too.

Nolan just takes it all in, content as long as he can see the action...patiently waiting for the day when he can participate, too.

It will be interesting to see how Kate fits into the mix when she joins us in August.
