This is the rhyme we say to decide which prayer we will sing/say to give thanks for our food. Yesterday during lunch Collin was "Mo."
He chose to say his own prayer...since he's been questioning why God hasn't sent any rain for our plants and our trees for at least a month. The prayer went something like this...we had to repeat after him...
"Dear God...
Thank you for our food.
Please send some rain to water our pretty flowers and the trees...they are thirsty.
Thank you for Daddy, Mommy, Aaron and baby Nolan...and Collin.
Amen."
Oh the power of a child's prayer. Today it's raining.
