Cody finally got to come home from the NICU yesterday...4 weeks and 5 days after he was born...but who's counting?!?
This one's sure to be trouble. As soon as he started eating well, he stopped breathing. In addition to an apnea monitor, he came home with a complicated feeding regime, which involves a thickener, extra calories, caffeine and an antibiotic. Mom mentioned Ruth and Terry even had to watch some sort of video to learn how to put him in his car seat correctly. You wouldn't know any of this by looking at them. They are their usual laid-back selves.
I'm going to bring the boys to the farm this weekend to meet their new cousin. We're going to shower this little one with love...cuddle with him...hold him...make sure he knows he's surrounded by people who adore him.
