Swimming Lessons

We arrived at the Miller's private pool in Chanhassen bright and early this morning for swimming lessons with Miss Wendy. A colorful stuffed toy snake wrapped around the gate welcomed us on the path back to the pool. The boys enjoyed one on one instruction with a high school teacher, Collin with Lucy and Aaron with Kylie, with Mrs. Wendy providing guidance and additional instruction.

After donning their goggles, both boys entered the heated pool. Collin was eager to begin, while Aaron was, surprisingly, a little more reserved. As the half-hour lesson came to a close, Collin decided he was ready to jump off the diving board. Kylie even managed to coax Aaron into jumping off the side of the pool. We thought it would be the other way around, given that Aaron voluntarily jumped off the highest point of a bridge into Adam's open arms during our trip to Cancun last Fall.
