While I was stealing a few moments to myself to check e-mail after he returned home from work, Adam was standing in the doorway to the kitchen, holding Nolan in his arms, with Collin and Aaron swirling like dervishes around his legs. Adam looked at me...and said, "remind you of anything...nucleus with electrons, maybe?"
Yes, YES.
...that is exactly what parenting is like...as Collin and Aaron change affinity and disengage from Daddy nucleus to re-engage with Mommy nucleus as I leave my computer screen.
