Molly brought the boys...and Kate over for a play date this morning. Collin and Aaron were excited to have this part of our weekly routine re-established, even if it was just for the morning and through lunchtime. We are in the midst of a great schedule change...and the boys are grasping for anything familiar.
Kate slept nearly the entire time she was here...and Nolan snoozed on Molly's shoulder while I prepared lunch for everyone. At one point Molly turned to me and questioned "will we be able to do this?"
I'm sure there will be challenges watching 6 kids age 4 and under. Just when it was getting easy, we threw a couple more infants into the mix. I'm confident we will not just survive...but will look back on these days with fondness for having had the opportunity to care for and love each other's children.
