Uncle Reid and Nolan 
Alysha and Maggie
Uncle Reid and Auntie Alysha with their new beagle, Maggie, in tow, arrived from Plano, IL, a suburb of Chicago, early this afternoon after a long car ride. They came to celebrate Nolan's baptism tomorrow. Linda and Maxine arrived shortly thereafter, from Fargo, ND.
We have planned quite a celebration. Adam and I have spent days and nights this week planning meals, grocery shopping with Nolan while Adam got Collin and Aaron ready for bed, meeting with Pastor Stephanie on Tuesday evening over dinner, trekking over to church twice with the kiddos in tow to practice singing, pounding and stuffing chicken with pesto, preparing egg bake, snapping green beans, cleaning...etc. The goal was to keep the weekend, and more importantly, the moments leading up to it relatively stress free...and we did an amazing job.
We are all set...and now we can sit back and enjoy fellowship with friends and family. Let the fun begin.
We were a little worried that we would be inheriting another family member after this display of affection.

It was such a great weekend and we were so glad to be there and share in the joy. Funny side note: Adam gave me some cans of pop and I left them on the floor of the backseat...oops! When we got back to IL one of the cans was half empty and had teeth marks on the side of the can :) Maggie must be a Dew lover too
